Hi everybody I have e65 2006 my car used to work with 2005-2 europe high map dvd but it dose not contain the eastern europe. Long time ago i tried to upgrade my navigation operating system to v32 that use 2009-2 europe high navigation dvd, upgrade was successful but the dvd dose not worked. I need some information about my idrive and navigation system, couse every information that i found i was about x5 or other versions.if somebody help me i really appreciate it. 1-how can i know that is my navigation system,for example mk1, mk2,mk3, mk4 Bcom3 Lehman Dufrene Pdf Merge more. ???(cause i checked all websites about nav system but mine dose not look same as photos and i canot see version sw.

BTW - you mention your system use to work with 2005-2.what does your Nav system do now.what disc do you have in it. Is the screen blank when Navigation is selected.you may just have an issue with the DVD/CD drive. If you've used any non-OEM discs in it the laser may have burnt itself out.I have heard of such in several posts. V32 is the latest software on our US models.If the Nav software update didn't work I'd try updating it again and purchase an OEM BMW upgrade disc vs. Downloading a file from someone online.
Once you know the CD/DVD drive is updated it should work with most year discs. In the US we didn't need to upgrade the software to load a more current DVD version but the detail on the screen was improved as well as reading double layered DVD's so you may be limited in data shown even if you have the newest 2009.2 DVD if you don't have the latest software loaded. Again, please expand on what your system does now. To check the version of software currently on your DVD Nav: With idrive on the central window (the window with all the selections East West North South) To access the Secret Menu: 1.
