That's a possible fix, I guess. But I'm thinking either your installation of IE is problematic, or you have some add-ons that are causing a problem. Begin by cleaning out your temporary internet files, cookies, browser history, etc. Then try starting IE without add-ons, by right clicking the icon on the desktop, or go to Start>All Programs>accessories>system tools>IE without add-ons.
