Bought the Guide Gear #32 figuring that it would be an equivalent.

What I received is considerably less refined. The threading on the cutter cap is very shallow and is cast rather than machined so that screwing the cap in place without cross threading is VERY difficult. There is no machining of the meat feed rod where its ball bearing meets the grinder's case. As a result, the shaft turns slightly off center resulting in points of high resistance which, in turn, causes the whole assembly to vibrate under power. Overall, functional but rather disappointing and a step down from the LEM unit.
Rated 4 out of 5 by AlexInAlex from Great price, but sparse on accessories The grinder arrived fine and was easy to set up. It only comes with one grinding plate, so more must be purchased as well as a stuffing plate if you want to use the grinder for stuffing too. I've had bad experiences trying to grind and stuff in the same operation, so it doesn't make sense that stuffing tubes are included without a stuffing plate, but for the price I really can't argue. This same grinder is 50-100% more expensive at other sites, and SG's return policy made me very confident that if it wasn't made well I could easily exchange or return it.Only complaint is the handle mounts poorly, and tends to unscrew itself, mostly because there is only one nut and no way to really lock it on. I will make a better mount for it using a longer bolt, a nut on each side, and a few washers.
