Pidgin Aim File Transfer Failed

I have received Yahoo File Transfers via Gaim and Pidgin. I know this because Yahoo is the only IM Client that a friend of mine in Romania uses. However, when he tried to send me a File today it failed. File transfer worked fine as recently as 2 weeks ago. However, I installed Pidgin 2.2.1. As soon as it was released and now I don't see anything (not even a failure or time-out message).
