Well, I went to the store today and - after some 10 minutes into discussing with a sales manager that kept repeating they wouldn't take it open and that I should have checked the 'requirements and labels' saying it coudln't be upgraded (I wonder where it says that) - this person agreed to take it back and I had to buy the package full price. It went ok, but I think there should be some kind of notice about this. I only found out about it here! I wanted to know now if LP8 is running properly on 10.5.2 and if I have to keep the original version without upgrading it to 8.1 (or whatever that is out now) for the time being.
