Boston underground-vets Edo G, Jaysaun (of the Kreators), Slaine, and DJ JayCeeOh combined to form Special Teamz in 2005. After a strong mixtape debut, the group signed with Duck Down and put together STEREOTYPEZ, a tour de force of Boston street-hop, heavy on true-school beats and hardcore lyrics. STEREOTYPEZ features beats from an all-star cast of producers including Pete Rock, Marco Polo, Jake One, Moss, and DJ Premier as well as guest appearances from Buckshot, Sean Price, Ill Bill, Devin the Dude, and fellow Bostonians Akrobatik, JY, Twice Thou, and Frankie Wainwright.

Jaysaun, former co-founder of the underground rap group Kreators (1997), is known for his raw and aggressive style on and off the mic. Their first video, Foreign Lands, was given 4 mic rating and was chosen best underground video for 1999 by MTV's Flying Indie program that aired after the 1999 MTV Music Awards. Which was instrumental in making a name for himself in the underground boston hip hop scene. Now a member of the the Boston hip hop super group Special Teamz ( Jaysaun, Slaine, Edo G) known for their many accomplishments in the industry. Taking home GROUP OF THE YEAR at the 1st Annual Mass Industry Committee Hip Hop Awards in 2005, following the award was the release of there first album STEREOTYPEZ (2007) on Duck Down Records. Featuring the likes of Sean Price, Buckshot, Devin the Dude, Akrobatik, Ill Bill and Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed. With production from Dj Premier, Pete Rock, Marco Polo, Jake One, MoSS, Ill Bill, Explicit One and the Italian producer DJ Shocca.

The albums song 'Fallen Angelz' was featured in Ben Affleck's film, Gone Baby Gone which Slaine played a supporting role in. Jaysaun's newest mixtape The Game of Breathe has every thing you could be looking for, from the heart felt dedication to his grandparents 'Close 2 Ur Soul' to the story of a hustler in 'Cadillac Music' you will become part of the vivid picture he paints.
